Jenay is a registered member in good standing with The College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. She graduated from MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy in Alberta of 2018 and has since challenged the board exams so that she is now able to practice across all provinces.
She is thrilled to have her own practice, where she can give a beautiful combination of a therapeutic and intuitive touch. Her technique can be very adaptive depending on the treatment goals whether it be deep tissue, Swedish, trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage, sports massage, pregnancy, and her favourite focus - myofascial release.
Jenay believes that one’s own connection to their body is important and wants to help people discover that body connection, as we live in a very mentally focused society. Her professional dance and yoga background has helped her understand this connection and aims to help others feel empowered through their own anatomy by making them feel physically stronger with more movement.
While in school, Jenay attended many outreaches such as the Synaptic Spinal Cord injury and Neuro Rehabilitation Center, The Children’s Hospital, and the University of Calgary’s anatomy lab, which have all deepened her understanding of the human body.
Jenay has worked in many different settings including chiropractic clinics and spa environments, where she has seen diverse clientele with many ailments, injuries and treatment needs.
Jenay has a true calling for helping others. When she is not working you will find her on the ski hill, or on a trail with her fiance Brett and their pomchi named Pawblo.
